What does RA-FIT stand for?
Revenue Administration Fiscal Information Tool. The IMF developed RA-FIT in 2012 to allow it to more efficiently gather quantitative and qualitative data from customs and taxation administrations. The web-based platform is used solely for the on-line capture of data.
RA-FIT comprises three modules: (i) data collection; (ii) data analysis tools; and (iii) data dissemination. The data collection module is well developed. Development of analysis tools and the data dissemination module is nearly complete and the dissemination Data Portal is scheduled for release in April 2016.
